iNS/iDS Firmware v5.1.5 (2025-02-13)

• Fix bug in 3-Wire mode and no button wires connected, calls are automatically made after Walk interval

iNS/iDS Firmware v5.1.4 (2025-01-28)

• Fix issue which can occur when updating from v5.0.1 or earlier.
• Fix issue with information message not playing when extended push time is set to zero.

iNS/iDS Firmware v5.1.3 (2024-12-10)

• Added support for 2-wire firmware update via iCCU using Polara Updater utility.
• Addressed issue in which pilot LED would not turn on when exiting Walk with CC closed.

iNS/iDS Firmware v5.0.3 (2024-07-02)

• Added new WPC disconnected state communicated from WPSE to iNS (on data line)
• Feature to store the name of WPC, when connected, in non-volatile memory

iNS/iDS Firmware v5.0.0 (2023-08-22)

• Support connection to a WPC unit.
• Minor firmware update issues fixed:
  • Fix issue where a firmware update would fail if another FSA connected to a PBS on the same iCCU.
  • Fix intermittent issues where the nRF BLE update gets stuck at 88%.
• Fix issues causing excessive health log entries on interval changes if Field Service App is disconnected (loss of connection) while on the Interval Status screen. (Health log 390 entry)

iNS/iDS Firmware v4.0.18 (2023-05-01)

• Fix issue where units in 3-wire exhibit undesirable behavior when powered up in Walk mode without a timed transition to Clearance or Don't Walk.

iNS/iDS Firmware v4.0.17 (2022-08-22)

• Add setting parameter to enable/disable the External Button input when in 2W mode (using PWR +/- on green terminal block as external button input).
  • Note: If you have an external button connected to the external button interface in 2-Wire mode, you will need to enable this feature in the button settings.
• Added option to explicitly Enable/Disable PedApp function.
• Add ability to connect to multiple PedApp clients at the same time, even if connected to a Field Service client
• Fix issue which causes the preemption message to stop when intersection is set to rest-in-walk.
• Fix issue which causes excessive health log entries if a BLE connection drops while in the Interval Status screen.
• Fix issue which could cause button to not appear in the FS App connection list after running for a long time.
• Increase stability of BLE file transfers.

• Add Rain Lockout feature for iDetect (Profile 1 only).
• Add new button count types for External presses, PedApp, iDetect, and Wireless Sync activations.

• Enable Encryption over BLE connections.
• Allow access to PedApp communications when BLE is disabled by installer.

iNS/iDS Firmware v4.0.10 (2020-10-28)

• Add iDetect functionality
• Add ability to return iDetect installation status to FS Apps for display as iDS unit type.

iNS Firmware v4.0.9 (2020-09-08)

• Adds command to allow performing file system reformat.

iNS Firmware v4.0.8 (2020-05-15)

• Fix an issue to prevent the rare occurrence of audio not operating properly on unit startup.
• Added confirmation tones to determine enable/disable status of the BLE disable feature.
• Fix compatibility issue with Samsung Galaxy S9/S10 with Android 10 not being able to connect via BLE to the iNS.
• Fix compatibility issue with Apple devices running iOS v13.4 or greater requiring bonding information to be cleared before connection to an iNS.

iNS Firmware v4.0.2 (2020-01-24)

• Initial release of the iNS firmware: This firmware incorporates all features of the iNav firmware (v4.02) and adds compatibility with iNS hardware including enhanced BLE support.
