Release Notes for EN4A - Audio Firmware
This article lists the release notes of the EN4A (Audio Processor) Firmware (500-1031). This firmware controls the audio playback and USB communication functions of the EN4 PBS.
This firmware is no longer being developed. However, the latest firmware can be found at this link:
Product applicability
Applies to model EN4 PBS (Push Button Station for 4W EZComm Navigator) only.

Filename: 500-1031XZZ.en4a (X is the Major Value, ZZ is the Revision Value).
Note: Firmware can only be updated using the EZ APS ToolBox PC application and a USB (Type A to B) cable plugged directly into the bottom of the EN4.

EN4A v3.09 (2012-01-26)
- Change low voltage threshold to 7 volts (which is actually 6.5v +/- .5v based on temperature). This should fix the reset problem when playing messages at 100% volume with an AC supply voltage of ~90V

- Fix error which caused a PSM test to occur while USB was plugged in (causing programming failure with Security Box)

- Change PSM debounce time from when losing walk signal to expecting loss of IO1 signal from 50ms to 150ms

- Fix error which would cause the EN4A to reboot during EN4M bootload programming due to PSM failure

- Change PSM Self Test Operation
