Re-map Desk Instructions - Siemens M60

When an iCCU-S/S2 system is operating in SDLD/BIU mode, the traffic controller must be remapped for it to see pedestrian calls over BIU. Use the following procedure for Siemens M60 or similar traffic controllers (example using Siemens M60 with EPAC 5.1.0 firmware, EDI MMU, Siemens BIU Hub model AAD14753P004):

  • Configure Detector Rack BIU for Pedestrian Calls

    • Navigate to 9 – System Data; 1 – Communications; 1 – Address
      • Enter an address greater than 000 for KEYPAD
    • Navigate back to Main Menu
    • Navigate to 4 – Unit Data; 7 – PORT 1 / ITS DATA
      • Scroll down to Address 9 – DET BIU #2 and enter to enable
      • Scroll down to Address 16 – MALFUNCTION UNIT and enter to enable
    • Navigate back to Main Menu
    • Navigate to 3 – PHASE DATA; 7 – DETECTOR DATA
      • Enter 3 to choose VEH 17-24
      • Enter 1 to choose VEH 17
        • Change Mode from Vehicle to Pedestrian for Phase 2
        • Enter “0” (or zero out) passage time and added initial time
      • Do the same for VEH 18 (Ped Phase 4), 19 (Ped Phase 6), & 20 (Ped Phase 8)
      • Go Back to DETECTOR CONFIG Menu
        • Enter 9 – PED 1-8
        • Enter 2 – PEDESTRIAN DET 2+
        • Zero Out Assigned Phase
      • Go Back to previous menu
        • Enter 4 – PEDESTRIAN DET 4+
        • Zero Out Assigned Phase
      • Go Back to previous menu
        • Enter 6 – PEDESTRIAN DET 6+
        • Zero Out Assigned Phase
      • Go Back to previous menu
        • Enter 8 – PEDESTRIAN DET 8+
        • Zero Out Assigned Phase

Upon Completion of all wiring and iCCU-S2 and Pedestrian Pushbuttons have been powered on and programmed, test all inputs for correctness.
