XAV2E-LED Troubleshooting

Button Will Not Power On
Ensure correct polarity on PWR+ & PWR-

Measure voltage across PWR+ & PWR- (10-24VDC).

If outside of range, disconnect field wiring to button and measure across wires.

If supply voltage is still out of range, narrow problem to field wiring or to XAVCU2/XAVCU2-DC. If the voltage returns to normal, this may be a shorted button.

If button has correct voltage and button still does not power up, RMA button.

Lights/RRFB Will Not Flash/Activate
Ensure button is powered on (above)

Measure voltage (10-24VDC) between BTN & PWR- terminals.

If no voltage is present, check wiring and XAVCU2/XAVCU2-DC.

If button voltage is present, pressing the button should drop the voltage between BTN & PWR- to ~0VDC.

If voltage is present normally and it does not drop with a button press, RMA button.

Button will not play sounds
Ensure button is receiving correct voltage (10-24 VDC) on PWR+ & PWR- terminals.
Ensure voltage between MUTE & PWR- drops to ~0VDC when button is pressed and RRFB is activated. If it does drop, RMA button. If is does not drop, RMA XAVCU2/XAVCU2-DC
Ensure Audio daughter board is plugged into control board correctly
